The Association
The CSP Network for International Politics and Co-Operation (registered association) is a friendly, non-profit society, which, according to the articles of association (German only), aims at supporting international understanding and an international attitude.

The formal formation of the association took place at Lobetal, a little town close to Berlin, on May 4th, 2003 (History).

Caused by the living situation of its members the CSP Network in many aspects does not bear many characteristics of a typical German association: The majority of its members live abroad, meetings in person are the exception rather than the rule, and even coordination among the members of the board demands a lot of flexibility. Nevertheless, after some discussion, the legal form of the registered accociation has been chosen as it seems best fit to guarantee continuousness in the work within the network as well as vis-à-vis external partners.

Work within the network is mainly coordinated via an Intranet that was specially developed according to the network's needs. The members of the board coordinate the tasks in the areas of external relations, internal networking, events, webtech, and finance. In addition, the five current regional groups provide for more personal networking on a local level (Brussels, Geneva, Paris, New York, and Berlin). Further regional groups are in the course of formation. If you would like to get in touch with one of the regional groups feel free to do so at info@csp-network.org.
