About us
The CSP Network for International Politics and Co-Operation (registered association) is the politically independent alumni network of the Carlo Schmid Programme for Internships in International Organisations and EU Institutions (CSP).
Our aim is to strengthen constructive international cooperation by supporting highly qualified professionals in international politics and cooperation in contributing their strengths and expertise to the international community in a beneficial and sustainable manner. We seek to reflect on international politics in a practical and critical manner and to actively shape it.
Our network now comprises over 700 members from 25 cohorts, who live and work in over 50 countries. With practical experience in international administration, academia, business, consultancy and politics, our members are now active in a wide range of international and national organisations, leading German and international universities, as well as public administrations, companies and NGOs.
Through the organisation of events and our intranet, we ensure a robust and stable network among our members. We promote the exchange of knowledge and experience through regular events featuring prominent guests and innovative discussion formats. In all major German cities, as well as at many locations worldwide where Carlo-Schmid Fellows are based, our members organise regular get-togethers and host various discussion forums, where topics in international politics are discussed with a range of stakeholders. The focus is always on knowledge transfer and exchange – as is the case at our annual autumn meeting, which brings together more than 100 alumni every year for expert discussions and networking.
